Long-lost friends and fried Mars bars

Although not quite out of Scotland, let alone Glasgow, I left this love note on Ed and Liam's refrigerator door. Even though my thanks to them is beyond colorful magnetized words.
I'm putting this picture up to make Liam happy. So Liam, I hope this makes you happy.
With a glint in his eye, telling a story to Mara at Nathan's flat in Edinburgh.
Richard, my long-lost friend, who was an exchange student at my university. I felt lucky to see him, since he's only just returned from Japan. He tells me Bill Murray's facial expressions in "Lost in Translation" were dead on.
An appetizing close up of a deep fried Mars bar. That's right. A chocolate bar coated in batter and fried. Legendary among Scots, some of whom have partaken and many of whom have not.
Mark and Nathan chowing down. I tried a few bites and almost blacked out from the greasy sugar shock.
